Meet Our Management Team
Mandy Doyle: Owner and Co-Director
Mandy Doyle, the heart and soul of Turn It Out Dance Academy, began her dance journey at the tender age of three. Her impressive career is decorated with prestigious titles, including Teen Miss Dance Of Ohio 1999 and Miss Dance of Ohio 2003, culminating in being crowned OVAC Queen of Queens 2003. Before dedicating herself fully to her vision for TIO, Mandy spent seven remarkable years performing in the Radio City Christmas Spectacular in New York City. Her professional stage credits extend to regional and national productions, featuring roles in Chicago, Revolution: Dance and Rock ‘n’ Roll, Aida, and Carmen. Beyond performing, Mandy has shared her expertise as an adjudicator and master teacher for Dance Xplosion Competition Circuit and Dance Masters, traveling across the nation to inspire young dancers. Her collaboration with renowned choreographer Michele Assaf further honed her directing and choreography skills. With over 32 years of dance experience and 21 years of teaching, Mandy’s leadership ensures that Turn It Out Dance Academy embodies excellence and passion in every step. Her dream of creating her own dance academy materialized in 2011, and TIO has since flourished, recently moving into a brand-new, purpose-built facility in Bellaire, Ohio. Mandy’s unwavering enthusiasm and commitment are the driving force behind TIO’s mission to bring top-tier dance education to the Ohio Valley.
Lacey Booth: Co-Director
Lacey Booth, Co-Director of Turn It Out Dance Academy, shares Mandy’s lifelong dedication to dance, starting her training at age two. Lacey’s achievements include Teen Miss Dance of Ohio 2003 and placing 10th overall at Dance Masters of America 2003, also earning the title of OVAC Queen of Queens in 2006. After high school, Lacey pursued her professional dance dreams in New York City, quickly landing a performing role with Stiletto Entertainment in L.A. for Holland America Cruise Lines. For 4 ½ years, she captivated audiences worldwide, traveling to exotic destinations from the Caribbean to Australia. Between cruise contracts, Lacey continued her dance education in New York City and contributed her talents as a judge for Dance Masters of Ohio and choreographer for West Liberty’s Dance Team. Lacey brings 30 years of dance experience and 18 years of teaching expertise to Turn It Out Dance Academy. Her global perspective and extensive performance background, combined with her dedication to nurturing young talent, make her an invaluable asset to TIO. Lacey is thrilled to be part of TIO’s journey, confident that with its state-of-the-art facilities and dedicated faculty, the academy’s future is bright.
