Get Ready to Elevate Your Swing Dance: Lindy Hop Level 3

Are you ready to take your Swing Dance skills to the next level? If you’ve mastered the basics of Lindy Hop and are looking to truly connect with your partner and the music, then our Lindy Hop Level 3 class is the perfect fit for you. This isn’t just about learning new steps; it’s about transforming your dancing into a dynamic conversation on the dance floor.

Deepen Your Partner Connection and Musicality in Swing Dance

In Lindy 3, we move beyond simply learning new moves. While we will introduce exciting new vocabulary to expand your dance repertoire, the primary focus shifts to the art of partnering. You’ll learn how to truly lead and follow, creating seamless transitions between steps and combining movements in spontaneous and creative ways. Imagine effortlessly flowing through a swing dance, each step a response to your partner and the rhythm of the music.

Crucially, we’ll delve into musicality. You’ll discover how to interpret different styles of swing music and express those nuances through your dance. Learning to “cook and then chill” means understanding how to vary the intensity of your movements, communicating subtle shifts in energy to your partner and creating a more engaging and dynamic swing dance experience. This is where swing dance truly becomes a captivating dialogue between two dancers.

Just like our Lindy 2 class, Lindy 3 is designed to challenge and inspire you. We pack each session with more material than can be fully absorbed in just one hour a week. Therefore, dedicated practice outside of class is essential to solidify your learning and truly integrate these advanced swing dance concepts.
