Your Responsibilities as a Retail Team Member:
As part of our retail shoe crew at Worldtone Dance, your responsibilities will include:
- Customer Service and Sales: Assisting clients in finding the perfect dance shoes to meet their needs and providing exceptional customer service.
- Product Management: Receiving, unpacking, labeling, and pricing new inventory.
- Inventory and Data Entry: Performing inventory counts and accurately entering client and product information into our systems.
- Shipping and Receiving: Preparing and processing shipments, as well as receiving incoming stock.
- Store Maintenance: Maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment.
- Other Assigned Duties: Flexibility to assist with various tasks as needed to support store operations.
Position Details:
- Consistent & Flexible Part-Time: We aim for consistent schedules but offer flexibility to accommodate changing needs.
- Minimum Commitment: A minimum of 12 hours per week is required, with a strong preference for candidates who can commit to two Saturdays a month (12:00 pm to 4:00 pm) and at least two additional 4-hour shifts per week.
- Business Hours: Currently Tuesday through Friday, 12:30 pm to 6:30 pm, and Saturday, 12:00 pm to 4:30 pm. Closed Sundays and Mondays.
- Shift Options: “WALTZ” shift (12:30 pm to 4:00 pm) and “TANGO” shift (3:30 pm to 6:30 pm) on weekdays, with one shift on Saturdays.
- Dress Code: Corporate casual with a black, white, and gray color palette. Black pants, jeans, or capris, and plain black, white, or gray tops are required. Certain clothing styles and shoe types are not permitted for safety and professional reasons.
