Meet Your Expert Tap Dance Instructor: Darlene Zoller
Your tap dancing journey will be guided by the incredibly talented and experienced Darlene Zoller. Darlene is not only a passionate dance instructor but also the Co-Founder and Co-Artistic Director of Playhouse on Park. Her extensive background in dance and theater makes her an exceptional teacher for adult tap students of all levels.
Darlene’s impressive credits include directing and choreographing numerous successful productions, and she is the founder, director, and choreographer of stop/time dance theater, Playhouse on Park’s resident dance company, celebrating its 20th year. She has been recognized with awards like Best Director of a Musical by Broadway World and nominations from the CT Critics Circle for her choreography.
During the pandemic, Darlene’s dedication to dance shone brightly as “the driveway lady”, teaching online dance classes for 450 consecutive days, building a loyal community of dancers. Her experience extends to higher education as a former adjunct professor at the University of Hartford’s Hartt School. Beyond Playhouse on Park and The 224 ECOSpace, Darlene also shares her love for dance as a dance/fitness instructor at Big Sky Fitness in Vernon.
