Studio A Dance is thrilled to offer an enriching and empowering 100 Girls Performing Arts Empowerment Super Summer Camp for girls aged 5-14. This full-day, 8-week program is more than just a summer camp – it’s a magical experience filled with performing arts and personal growth.
Our summer camp curriculum includes a wide array of activities:
- Dance Disciplines: Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Hip Hop, and Tap dance classes to explore different styles.
- Academics & Enrichment: Maintain learning through academic sessions, complemented by unique classes in Sign Language and Foreign Language.
- Swimming & Recreation: Enjoy refreshing swim sessions and fun weekly field trips.

The Studio A Foundation: Investing in Future Leaders Through Scholarships
Studio A Dance is deeply committed to giving back to the community. The Studio “A” Foundation, our non-profit arm established in 2005, has awarded over $500,000 in college scholarships to deserving students in the Baltimore area through our Scholarship Cotillion/Beautillion Program.
This free program is open to high school juniors and seniors (grades 11 & 12) and offers a comprehensive 7-month series of workshops designed to prepare them for higher education and future success. The program culminates in a formal ball, the Cotillion/Beautillion, celebrating the Debutantes and Beaus in the presence of family, friends, and community leaders. Each participant receives a $500 scholarship to support their college aspirations.

The Studio “A” Competition Team and Dance Ensembles are renowned for their talent and captivating performances throughout the DMV area and beyond. They have graced stages at churches and shared platforms with national recording artists such as Regina Bell, Kenny Lattimore, and Vickie Winans.
Our Competition Team boasts an impressive record, having won Regional Championships every year for the past decade. In 2023, Studio A Dance achieved international recognition at the StarQuest World Finals, earning the prestigious “APOGEE” award as Grand National Champions, along with multiple National Championships and solo titles.
Studio A Dance’s excellence in dance instruction and community impact has been recognized by WBAL Channel 2 and WJZ Channel 13, as well as receiving a Congressional Award of Excellence and a citation from Governor Wes Moore.
