Starpath Dance Academy, serving both Cary and Apex, North Carolina, is excited to announce the successful conclusion of their 2020-2021 season and the opening of enrollment for an exciting new dance year! Despite the challenges of the past year, Starpath Dance Academy in Cary triumphed, culminating in ten heartwarming outdoor dance recitals in June 2021. These recitals, held in the parking area of their Apex location, marked a joyous occasion for students, families, and instructors alike.
Reflecting on a Memorable “COVID Year” Recital
On June 12th and 13th, 2021, Starpath Dance Academy Cary hosted their 8th Annual Recital, aptly named “Crazy Eights,” in a unique outdoor setting. The academy transformed its studio space into an open-air venue, complete with a tented stage and audience area, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for everyone. Dancers of all ages and skill levels showcased their talents across various genres, from ballet to hip-hop. The recitals also featured special performances, including heartwarming Daddy Daughter dances, Parent-Child dances, and a grand finale where all students danced together across the parking lot, surprised by their teachers joining them on stage.
Lindsey Kaplowitz, Founder of Starpath Dance Academy Cary, shared her enthusiasm, “We were overjoyed to be able to host such a fun and secure event. For many of our dance families, this was the first large in-person gathering they had attended in over a year. It was an incredibly special weekend.
