Houston Dance Works Tuition Policies Explained
To ensure smooth operations and provide the best service to all our families at Houston Dance Works, we have established clear tuition policies:

Due Dates and Late Fees: Tuition is due on the 1st of each month. To simplify payments, we require accounts to be set up for automatic payments via ACH bank draft or Credit Card through our secure online parent portal. For your convenience, a 2.59% surcharge is applied to all credit card (Visa, Mastercard, and Discover) transactions. ACH and electronic checks are processed without any additional charges. Tuition is considered late after the 7th of the month, and a $15 late fee will be applied to accounts not paid by this date.

Annual Tuition Calculation: Our tuition is calculated based on the full dance year, spanning from August to May. The total annual tuition is divided into monthly installments for your convenience, reflecting the weekly dance hours and paid monthly from August through May.

Returned Checks: A $20 fee is applied to all returned checks. If mailing a check, please ensure it is postmarked by the 7th of the month to avoid late fees.

Registration Information for Houston Dance Works
Joining the Houston Dance Works family is easy! Here’s what you need to know about registration:
- Registration Fees: There is a $55.00 registration fee per dancer. For families enrolling multiple dancers, additional dancers within the same family are registered at a reduced fee of $27.50 per dancer.
We encourage early registration as class placements cannot be guaranteed for late registrations. Registration fees and the first month’s tuition are required upon registration. Please be aware that class placement is not confirmed until all registration fees and the first month’s tuition are paid. Both tuition and registration fees are non-refundable.
