At Dance Without Limits, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to experience the joy of dance. Our classes are designed to provide a supportive and inclusive environment where students of all abilities can thrive and express themselves through movement. We offer specialized programs tailored to meet diverse needs, ensuring that everyone can experience Dancing Without Limits.
Movement Classes: Building Confidence and Foundational Skills
Our Movement classes are the cornerstone of the Dance Without Limits program, perfectly suited for students who are new to dance or require additional support. These classes are particularly beneficial for students who thrive with one-on-one attention from a volunteer or need extra assistance while dancing. In a nurturing setting, students will explore fundamental movement concepts, develop body awareness, and build confidence in their abilities.
Movement Class Schedule:
- Ages 4 – 8: 12:15 PM – 1:00 PM
- Ages 4 – 8: 1:15 PM – 2:00 PM
- Ages 9 – 12: 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM
- Ages 9 – 18: 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM
- Ages 9 – 18+: 2:15 PM – 3:15 PM
Technique Classes: Enhancing Skills and Independence
For students who have progressed and can follow ballet and tap instruction more independently, our Technique classes offer the next step in their dance journey. While still supported by one or two volunteers to maintain class structure and provide encouragement, Technique classes emphasize independent dancing. We warmly welcome students who use wheelchairs or other mobility equipment they can manage on their own, adapting movements to celebrate each student’s unique capabilities.
Technique Class Schedule:
- Ages 11 – 18: 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM
- Ages 16 – 18+: 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Please note: Enrollment in Technique classes requires prior approval from our Program Coordinator or a teacher. If you are interested in joining Technique classes, please send your request to [email protected].
Small Class Sizes for Personalized Attention
To ensure each student receives the attention they deserve, we maintain small class sizes, typically between 6 to 9 students per session. This allows our instructors and volunteers to provide personalized guidance and support, fostering a positive and effective learning environment. Each Movement and Technique class is one hour in duration, maximizing engagement and learning within a focused timeframe.

Opportunities for Adult Dancers
We recognize the interest from dancers older than 18 and strive to accommodate adult students whenever possible. Access for dancers over 18 is considered on a case-by-case basis, taking into account volunteer availability. As our program relies on volunteers, many of whom are teenagers, our capacity to provide one-on-one support for adults is currently limited. We are committed to expanding our offerings for adult dancers in the future and appreciate your understanding.
If you have any questions about class placement for yourself or an adult student, please do not hesitate to email us. We are dedicated to making dance accessible to everyone and look forward to welcoming you to Dance Without Limits!
