Punctuality and Class Readiness for Pole Dance Fitness
To maximize your workout and prioritize safety, we kindly request that you arrive at our studio approximately 10 minutes before your scheduled awakenings pole dance fitness class. A proper warm-up is crucial for preventing injuries and preparing your body for the movements involved in pole dancing. For liability and safety reasons, students who arrive more than 15 minutes late may not be able to fully participate in the class. In such cases, our instructors reserve the right to ask you to either perform a complete warm-up independently or reschedule your awakenings pole dance fitness session for another day. We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, but these measures are in place to ensure your well-being and the quality of instruction for all participants. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in respecting our instructors’ decisions regarding late arrivals.

Please note that all class cards and purchases at Awakenings Pole Dance Fitness are non-refundable. If you have unused class cards or credits, they can be donated to another student or transferred to a different student account if needed. Most class credits are valid for two years from the date of purchase. We encourage you to be mindful of your class pack’s expiration date and schedule your awakenings pole dance fitness classes accordingly to make the most of your investment in your fitness journey.
Managing Your Bookings: Late Cancels & No-Shows for Pole Dance Fitness Classes
Given the limited space available in our awakenings pole dance fitness classes, it is essential to manage bookings effectively. We kindly request students to cancel their class reservations at least TWO HOURS before the scheduled start time. This allows us to offer your spot to another student and manage class sizes efficiently. Cancellations made within the two-hour window will unfortunately result in the loss of the class credit. Similarly, “no-shows,” where a student does not attend a booked class without prior cancellation, will also result in the forfeiture of the class credit. Any student who arrives at the studio appearing intoxicated will not be permitted to participate in class and will not be eligible for a refund of their class credit. What to Wear: Attire Recommendations for Pole and Aerial Fitness Classes
Comfort and freedom of movement are key when choosing your attire for awakenings pole dance fitness and aerial classes. For pole classes, we recommend wearing shorts or bikini bottoms as having exposed skin on your legs is crucial for grip and executing pole techniques effectively. For aerial classes, leggings are recommended to protect the skin on your legs from the aerial apparatus. Regardless of the class type, please refrain from applying lotions or creams to your skin before class, as these can make the pole or aerial equipment slippery and unsafe for both you and other students. However, for students under 18, we require that they are accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for their first class. This is necessary so that a waiver can be signed on their behalf, ensuring we have proper consent for their participation. Capturing Your Progress: Pictures and Videos During Class
We understand that students often like to document their progress and celebrate their achievements in awakenings pole dance fitness. Therefore, we do allow students to film and take pictures of themselves during their pole dancing or aerial classes. However, we kindly ask that you be mindful and respectful of those around you. Please make an effort to avoid filming other students in the background without their explicit consent. If you have any concerns about being filmed, even accidentally, please inform your instructor, and we will gladly arrange for you to be positioned in a spot where you will not be visible to cameras. We want everyone to feel comfortable and enjoy their awakenings pole dance fitness experience without privacy concerns.
