Class Check-In Procedures at Avanti Dance
For the safety and security of our youngest dancers, parents are required to check in children under the age of seven for each class. This can be done conveniently at the front desk or using one of our designated iPads. Dancers aged seven and older are permitted to check themselves in, provided they are familiar with the primary phone number associated with their account. This streamlined process helps us maintain accurate attendance records and ensures a smooth start to every class at Avanti Dance.
Make-Up Class Policy at Avanti Dance
We understand that unforeseen circumstances may sometimes lead to missed classes. At Avanti Dance, we offer a flexible make-up class policy to help students stay on track with their dance education. Students have a 30-day window while enrolled to make up for any missed classes. Please note that once enrollment is cancelled, any unused make-up classes are forfeited and cannot be transferred to another student. Addressing Excessive Absences at Avanti Dance
Consistent attendance is vital for progress in dance and for the overall dynamics of each class at Avanti Dance. If a student accumulates three or more consecutive unexcused absences, or misses the same class five or more times within a two-month period, particularly in classes that are at maximum capacity, Avanti Dance reserves the right to drop the student from the class. This measure ensures that students on the waitlist have the opportunity to join and that class continuity is maintained for all participants. We encourage open communication regarding any anticipated absences to avoid any disruption to your dance journey at Avanti Dance.
Holiday Class Schedule at Avanti Dance
Avanti Dance operates on a distinct schedule from local area schools regarding holidays. Our studio may remain open even when schools are closed. Therefore, it’s essential to confirm our class schedule, especially during holiday periods. Policy on Arriving Late to Avanti Dance Classes
To minimize disruption and ensure a focused learning environment for all students, dancers arriving more than 10 minutes after the scheduled start time of a class may not be permitted to participate. Late entry is at the discretion of the instructor, who will consider the class activity and potential disruption. In some cases, students arriving late may be invited to observe the class from the studio or lobby, depending on instructor discretion. If you anticipate being late for class, we kindly request that you call the studio to inform us, allowing us to notify the instructor and potentially minimize any inconvenience.
