Sac Dance Lab distinguishes between two primary studio usage categories: PRODUCTION and NON-PRODUCTION. Understanding these categories will help you select the appropriate booking type for your activity.
PRODUCTION rentals are designed for events and activities that involve a public element or commercial purpose. This includes:
- Public events of any kind
- Public or private classes

- Any activity where attendees pay to participate

NON-PRODUCTION rentals are tailored for creative endeavors and activities intended for personal use or practice. This encompasses:

Booking Policies at Sac Dance Lab: Essential Guidelines
To ensure a smooth and respectful environment for all users, Sac Dance Lab has established clear booking policies. Please review these guidelines carefully before making your reservation:
- Minors: Bookings involving participants under the age of 18 require pre-approval. Contact us at [email protected] to obtain approval prior to booking.
- Time Enforcement: Booking times are strictly adhered to, allowing for seamless transitions between bookings. Please do not enter the studio early and ensure you vacate the space promptly at the end of your reserved time.
- No Refunds: We do not offer refunds for studio bookings. However, if you cancel your booking at least 6 hours in advance via your Mindbody account, the booking purchase will remain as credit in your account for future use.
- Studio Etiquette: To maintain the cleanliness and quality of our studios, we prohibit gum, food, and drinks other than water inside the studio spaces.
- Prohibited Items: Smoking, vaping, and alcohol are not permitted within Sac Dance Lab premises.
- Cleanliness: Props or costumes that may shed debris such as feathers, glitter, or rhinestones are not allowed. A cleaning fee of $50 will be applied if such items or trash are found after your booking.
- Thermostat Policy: Please ensure that all thermostat units are turned OFF when you leave the studio to avoid a $25 fee.
- No Pets: For hygiene and safety reasons, pets are not allowed in the studios.
- Safety Restrictions: Activities such as skates, rollerblades, tumbling, lifts, stunts, and acrobatics are prohibited to ensure the safety of all users. Tap dancing with tap shoes is also not permitted in any studio.
- No Modifications: Taping the floor or affixing items to the walls is not allowed.
- Age Requirement: The person making the booking must be at least 18 years of age and must be present throughout the duration of the booking.
- Studio Condition: Studio spaces must be left free of trash and personal belongings after each use.
- Lost and Found: Items left behind will be stored in our Lost & Found for a maximum of 7 days.
Fill out the booking form to reserve your studio time at Sac Dance Lab. Please note that you must be 18 years or older to book, and the person who books must be present for the entire duration of the studio rental. Access to the studios is through the Clubhouse entrance, and an access link will be emailed to you one hour before your scheduled booking. Studio booking credits are valid for 60 days from the date of purchase.
