DDA Dance Paramus Tuition Policies: Everything You Need to Know

Navigating tuition costs is a crucial part of choosing the right dance academy. At Dda Dance Paramus, we believe in transparent and straightforward tuition policies to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all our dancers and their families. This guide outlines our tuition structure and payment options for our dance programs.

Payment Options at DDA Dance Paramus

To accommodate different financial preferences, DDA Dance Paramus offers two convenient payment plans for our yearly tuition, which ranges from $699 to $800 per class depending on the program.

Option 1: Payment in Full (Cash or Check Discount)

For families who prefer to handle tuition upfront, we offer a payment in full option. Payments made by cash or check upon registration before September 18th are eligible for a 2.5% discount if registration is completed before September 23rd. Please note that this discount is not applicable to our Tiny Tappers program, 10 or 15-week programs, adult program, or music & movement program. Full payment is due at the time of registration.

Option 2: 10 Installment Payment Plan

Alternatively, DDA Dance Paramus provides a 10-installment payment plan for greater flexibility. Tuition payments are due on the 1st of each month. For your convenience, we require autopay for installment plans, which can be processed via credit/debit card or ACH. Payments for installments #1, #9, and #10, along with the registration fee, are required upon registration to initiate the plan.

Class Duration and Extended Class Fees

Our dance year typically includes approximately 29-32 classes, incorporating picture day and dress rehearsal (excluding fitness classes or our Tiny Tappers program). For classes exceeding the standard duration, a one-time, non-refundable extended class fee is applied at registration. This fee is $157 for 1.25-hour classes and $307 for 1.5-hour classes.

Pro-rated Tuition and Make-Up Class Policy

Tuition adjustments for late enrollment are pro-rated starting from November 1st of the program year. If you enroll between September and November 1st, DDA Dance Paramus allows dancers to make up for missed classes from the beginning of the school year within a 4-month period from their enrollment date, ensuring they catch up and don’t miss out on valuable learning.

Account Management and Payment Policies

Maintaining an active credit/debit card or ACH on file is mandatory for all accounts at DDA Dance Paramus. The monthly installment fee, as well as any applicable costume fees, will be automatically debited between the 1st and 4th of each month. For our company dancers, this autopay system also covers company expenses, performance fees, and any additional company-related charges. A $10 late fee is applied for tuition payments not received within the 7-day grace period after the due date. Please be aware that all credit card purchases are subject to a processing fee of 3.5% – 3.75%.

When paying by check, please make them payable to DDA Dance Academy and include the dancer’s name in the memo section. A $45 fee will be charged for any returned checks. To ensure participation in classes, rehearsals, and recitals, all accounts must be current. DDA Dance Paramus reserves the right to drop students due to non-payment of tuition. Please note that tuition is non-refundable, and checks are not accepted after April 2025.

We at DDA Dance Paramus are committed to providing exceptional dance education with clear and manageable tuition policies. We hope this guide helps clarify any questions you may have regarding tuition at our academy. For further inquiries, please do not hesitate to contact us directly.
