Justice Wins Grammy Award for Best Dance/Electronic Recording for “Neverender”

French electronic music duo Justice has clinched the Grammy Award For Best Dance/electronic Recording at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards. The win, announced on Sunday, February 2nd in Los Angeles, recognized their track “Neverender” as the year’s standout in the dance and electronic music scene.

Justice’s victory in this competitive category saw them triumph over a strong field of nominees. They were up against Disclosure with “She’s Gone, Dance On,” Four Tet’s “Loved,” the collaboration of Fred Again.. and Baby Keem on “Leavemealone,” and Kaytranada’s “Witchy” featuring Childish Gambino. This prestigious Grammy win underscores Justice’s continued relevance and innovation within electronic music.

This Grammy marks the third for Justice, solidifying their status as veterans and leaders in electronic music. “Neverender,” a standout track from their fourth studio album Hyperdrama released in 2024, became a significant hit in the dance music world. The song is characterized by its soaring melodies, smooth disco influences, and features vocals from Kevin Parker of Tame Impala. Hyperdrama itself is a star-studded album, boasting collaborations with artists like Parker, Miguel, and Thundercat, showcasing Justice’s willingness to collaborate while staying true to their signature sound.

Pedro Winter, founder of Justice’s label Ed Banger and a former manager for Daft Punk, highlighted the duo’s independent spirit in a previous interview with Billboard. He noted their long-standing focus on their own artistic vision, similar to Daft Punk’s approach. However, with two decades in the industry, Justice has opened up to collaborations, broadening their reach and introducing their unique sound to new audiences, potentially capturing the attention of fans of artists like Kevin Parker and Miguel.

While Justice celebrated their Grammy win, Xavier de Rosnay and Gaspard Augé, the two members of the duo, were unable to attend the Grammy Premiere Ceremony. Currently on tour in Europe, they had Justin Tranter, the host of the pre-telecast show, accept the award on their behalf. In addition to Best Dance/Electronic Recording, Hyperdrama also received a nomination for Best Dance/Electronic Album at the 2025 Grammy Awards, ultimately losing to Charli XCX’s Brat. Despite this, the Grammy win for “Neverender” remains a high point, celebrating Justice’s artistic achievement in the Best Dance/Electronic Recording category.
