I am beyond thrilled to officially announce my partner for Season 24 of Dancing With the Stars: the incredibly funny Chris Kattan! For those who may not know him, Chris is a highly acclaimed actor, comedian, and a beloved alumnus of Saturday Night Live (SNL) for almost a decade. He’s shared the stage with comedic giants from SNL such as Will Ferrell and Molly Shannon, making audiences laugh for years.
Our initial meeting was a tad awkward, to say the least! However, within just five minutes of knowing Chris, I was already in stitches. He quickly jumped to the top of my list of “funniest people I know.” He’s genuinely sweet and kind, but also possesses a wonderfully sarcastic sense of humor. A major bonus? He actually laughs at my jokes, which is always a real treat!
Having a former SNL cast member and comedian as my Dancing With the Stars partner is a first for me. While I’m anticipating a season filled with laughter, I also recognize that this partnership will bring its own unique set of challenges. One particular challenge I am preparing for is navigating Chris’s history of severe injuries. He suffered a broken neck some years ago, which has unfortunately led to multiple surgeries and ongoing health concerns. Despite this, I am absolutely determined to work through any obstacles and ensure that his past injuries don’t hinder our progress. I know Chris has so much talent to showcase, and we are both committed to giving this competition everything we’ve got!
I’m genuinely excited to tap into my creative side this season and really highlight Chris’s personality so he can truly shine on the dance floor each week. I predict this season will be packed with fun and unexpected moments, and I’m eager to see what dance techniques I can coax out of him. I have a strong feeling that this season of Dancing With the Stars is going to be the best one yet!
