Things have been wonderfully busy here, and as we settle into the back-to-school season, I wanted to connect with you and share some musical joy! Even though editing a brand-new video for this week was a bit of a squeeze with family visits and the start of the school year, I didn’t want to leave you without some engaging content.

Now, let’s get to this week’s featured videos! First up, we’re putting a fresh spin on the ABCs. 🙃 The song is called New Alphabet and it’s from my album Sha Doo Be Doop. You can find it on all major music platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon, and the iTunes store.
This isn’t just your typical alphabet song. It’s set to a brand new tune with an upbeat dance rhythm that encourages movement. As I sing, the letters appear on the screen, making it a fantastic VARK (Visual, Auditory, Reading/Writing, Kinesthetic) learning experience. Once you’ve danced along to the ABCs, you might be ready for even more movement! Or perhaps you need a fantastic dance party or brain break song for later in the day. Well, you’re in luck because this next song is perfect for getting those wiggles out! It’s my original My Freeze Dance song:
The Freeze Dance Song is an absolute must-have in your repertoire of kids’ activities. It’s not just a fun way to burn energy; it’s also incredibly beneficial for developing crucial skills in young children. Freeze dance helps improve listening skills as kids need to pay attention to the music to know when to freeze and when to move. It enhances gross motor skills as they engage in different movements and dance steps. Plus, it’s a fantastic way to incorporate physical activity into learning, making it a wonderful brain break in between lessons or a fun transition activity.
