INTERNATIONAL TITLE GRAND PRIZE: A Trip to London!
The pinnacle of individual achievement at the International Finals is the prestigious International Title Grand Prize. The highest scoring title winner, regardless of age or gender, will be crowned the Grand Thunderstruck Title winner of 2025. This exceptional dancer will receive an all-expenses-paid trip to participate internationally in LONDON!
Please note: Grand Title Winners are not eligible to win the grand prize in consecutive years but can still compete for and win individual Title awards within their age group each year.
The coveted grand prize package includes:
- Roundtrip Airfare: Flights from the USA to London for the Grand Title winner and one chaperone. Departure from a major US airport (Denver, Los Angeles, Washington D.C. area, or NYC – final departure location to be confirmed by July 10, 2025).
- Hotel Accommodations: Hotel stay in London (one room with two beds) for the duration of the trip.
- Competition Access: Passes and/or entry fees covered for the winner and chaperone to participate in a London dance competition.
- Mentorship: Personalized mentorship and guidance throughout the event from Thunderstruck Dance Directors.
- West End Show Tickets: Experience London’s iconic West End with tickets to a spectacular show.
- Exclusive Activities: Additional activities and cultural experiences in London to enhance the trip.
- Extended Stay: Two extra nights of accommodation in London (one room with two beds) to explore the city beyond the competition.

Eligibility for the Title Grand Prize requires adherence to all participation rules at Thunderstruck Finals. Full details and rules will be provided to the winner upon being crowned at the Thunderstruck International Finals 2025. The winner must respond with all requested information to Thunderstruck by 9 am (Pacific Time) on July 6th, 2025. Failure to meet this deadline will result in forfeiture of the prize, which will then be awarded to the next runner-up. Thunderstruck reserves the right to modify the prize due to unforeseen circumstances, in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be awarded.
(Exact travel dates and flight details will be confirmed by approximately July 10th, 2025, or as soon as the schedule is released to Thunderstruck. Winners and chaperones may extend their trip at their own expense.)
Failure to comply with listed participation rules at Thunderstruck Finals disqualifies the soloist from Title Grand Prize eligibility.

Electrifying Dance Down Opening Number
Be part of the spectacular Dance Down opening number, choreographed by a renowned industry choreographer. The choreographer’s name will be To Be Announced. This is your chance to perform in a high-energy, professionally choreographed routine that kicks off the Dance Down event.
Dance Down: The Ultimate Showdown
Witness the fierce competition of the Dance Down! The SIX highest scoring groups (Small Groups, Large Groups, or Lines) from different studios, across various age divisions and performance levels, will be selected to re-compete for even larger cash prizes and the coveted first-place title.
Participating groups will also have the exciting opportunity to be interviewed backstage. These Interviews are broadcast LIVE to the audience, adding to the thrill and engagement of the Dance Down!
Dance Down Divisions:
- Future Star – Petite, Junior
- Shining Star – Petite, Junior, Teen, Senior
- Rock Star – Junior, Teen, Senior
In addition to group performances, all Title winners, along with the highest scoring solo and duet/trio in all age divisions at the Shining Star & Rock Star levels, will be invited to showcase their winning routines during the Dance Down.
Expert Judging Panel
Rest assured that your performance will be evaluated by a panel of seasoned professionals. Group performances will be judged by five (5) judges. To ensure fairness and consistency, the highest and lowest scores will be removed, and the final score will be calculated from the combined scores of the middle three (3) judges. Our established scoring scale for each performance division, consistent with regional events, will be maintained. Solos and duet/trios will be adjudicated by three (3) judges.
